Often poorly understood, and yet an endless source of public fascination and Hollywood inspiration… come explore genetic engineering and gene editing in cinema with a panel of experts who will discuss great (and some not-so-great) movies! Our panelists include the following:

Rodolphe Barrangou, PhD – Assoc. Professor of Food Science, NC State University and Editor-in-Chief of The CRISPR Journal
Marsha Gordon, PhD – Professor of English, NC State University, Film Scholar and Co-Host of WUNC’s Movies on the Radio

We will provide the (non-GMO) popcorn!
